Graduate Assistant Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for assisting with the design and development of College of Education and Social Work Online courses in D2L and with the WCUPA Digital Accessibility Compliance Project. The GA will work with the Director of Instructional Design and Technology to build and update course sites in D2L, build course materials, test courses prior to the start of each semester, and assist with the CESW Website edits as needed. The GA will evaluate and remediate digital materials for accessibility compliance. Applicants should be detail oriented and comfortable learning new technology. Experience taking online or hybrid courses is a plus but not required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be a full-time Graduate Student at West Chester University (9 credits or more for the Fall 2026 semester).
- Must have knowledge and experience in any one of the following:
- Presentation/Information Design, Teaching, Training facilitation and design (backgrounds in I/O Psychology, HR, or Education are preferred). Also, a strong background in technology use is required.
- Must commit to 15-20 hours per week.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Part-time or Full-time Summer 2027 hours may be available.
