*Anticipated Opening* Graduate Assistant 2021-22: Student Leadership and Involvement

Seeking 20-hour per week Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student Leadership and Involvement at West Chester University.

  • Work with our undergraduate Leadership Consultants (paraprofessional staff) to facilitate “Daytime Explore”, a 4-part introductory leadership series
  • Assist with coordination of assessment of leadership programs
  • Assist with social media plan for Student Leadership and Involvement
  • Assist and support the creation of training modules for student organization leaders
  • Improve existing resources to be more online-friendly and support the new, ongoing and changing needs of student organizations in the age of COVID-19
  • Have RamConnect administrator privileges and know how to support those who may need assistance
  • Coordinate and execute the Fall and Spring Involvement Fairs using a “virtual vision” if necessary
  • Ensure that all clubs and organizations have by-laws uploaded to RamConnect account
  • Participate in investigation of locating and creating university policies and procedures as it relates to risk-management (overall and in the age of COVID-19) to include but not be limited to anti-hazing, travel, food safety, and event management
  • Serve on select university planning committees as assigned
  • Update and maintain student club organizational development resources
  • Liaise with the Leadership Consultant assigned to student club treasurer cohort to coordinate financial related activities with Student Services, Inc.
  • Support Advisor Appreciation programming and development of Advisor training materials

Our new Graduate team member should exhibit flexibility, self-direction and a positive professional attitude. Additionally, the successful candidate should be comfortable with technical skills and learning new technologies.
