Graduate Assistantship
The Graduate Mentor Role and Responsibilities will include:
1. Weekly meetings with students to monitor academic progress and discuss campus resources and services as needed
2. Supervise weekly study hall
3. Work with the Learning Assistance Resource Center (LARC) to assist student athletes with obtaining tutoring as needed
4. Communicate with faculty to obtain ongoing updates on academic progress of student athletes and discuss helpful strategies as needed
5. Provide written/verbal weekly updates to Supervisor on the academic progress of their student athletes
6. Attend weekly meetings with Academic Coordinator/Supervisor to discuss academic progress of student
7. Complete ongoing online assessment data for 1st year student who completed the Student Success Navigator reports.
